The City Council and EDA Meeting for Blaine, MN from July 7, 2025

 

Council agenda items include discussion of several items on the consent agenda; adopting the assessment for the 2024 Northwest Area Street Reconstruction; denying a conditional use permit for detached accessory buildings; granting a conditional use permit for Hyper Kidz Blaine; and waiving park dedication fees for an existing lot in the proposed Uram subdivision, along with final plat approval.

Also on the agenda are first readings of ordinance amendments related to home occupations and prohibited signs/administrative permits, a second reading on amending the zoning ordinance for cannabis regulations, the Circle Pines joint project, a bid from GMH, and the authorization of interfund transfers, fund closures, and budget amendments.

EDA agenda items include appointing an interim city manager and awarding the heat tape installation contract.
